Innovative farm shop launches one stop web shop in time for the summer

As the weather forecast showing signs of improvement, an innovative East Yorkshire farm shop has launched an online shop in time for the summer.

Hornsea Freeport farm shop, William’s Farm Kitchen, can now supply high quality East Yorkshire meat from their award winning butchery department to customers nationwide.

Of the launch, William’s Farm Kitchen founder, Mark Farnsworth said: “Many of our customers are holidaymakers who visit our bakery, butchery and café many times throughout their stay, so it will be great to be able to continue supplying them with exceptional East Yorkshire food at great value on their return home. Customers will be able to choose from a selection of meat boxes, including a BBQ box or will be able to put together their own order as nearly all the lines sold in the shop will be available online.

“The launch of the online shop has been timed to coincide with the traditional BBQ season that starts around the end of May. Whilst we will have all the meat available online, in store we have everything to compliment the BBQ season from award winning Yorkshire beers through to locally made tomato ketchup!”

Mark and his team will also be busy behind the BBQ when William’s Farm Kitchen hosts the third WFK Charity Cycle Sportive on 22nd June. Cyclists can choose from either a 60k or 100k route, both taking advantage of the undulating traffic free lanes of Holderness and East Yorkshire and will be rewarded with William’s Farm Kitchen’s award winning flapjack at the feed station and burgers and Wold Top Brewery’s Tour de France inspired beer, Hello Vélo at the finish. There are less than 50 of the 350 places left and the William’s Farm Kitchen team hope to raise £1,000 for Hornsea Rotary for their support of excellent local causes.

Established in 2011, William’s Farm Kitchen is an award-winning farm shop, butchery and café. It has established an excellent reputation for its great value local food and its food based events that include the popular Meet the Producer Days. In addition to the Sportive, William’s Farm Kitchen will also host a Family Cycle Ride on 10th August.
