Just Desserts Yorkshire Unveil Gluten Free Cakes and Vegan Range

Just Desserts Yorkshire have launched a new range of gluten free products into the market, to complement their award-winning handcrafted cakes and desserts.

The new range has been introduced to broaden the offer available from the specialist desserts company, ensuring that there are delicious options available for everyone, including many that meet specific dietary requirements.

An independent, family run business based in the heart of West Yorkshire, Just Desserts, started life in 1985 in the renowned Salts Mill and have gone onto expand and develop their range, picking up many prestigious industry accolades along the way.

The seven new gluten free cakes and tray bakes are now available to food services and the hospitality sector and include Gluten Free Chocolate & Caramel Cake, Caffe Latte Blondie Traybake and Salted Caramel Millionaire as well as Gluten & Dairy Free Victoria Sponge, Cherry & Almond Cake, and

Raspberry & White Chocolate Cake.

The business has also expanded their portfolio of vegan cakes and desserts with two new products: Cookies & Cream Cake and Vegan Sticky Toffee Gingerbread Cake.

The expansion of their Free From ranges comes after the team announced their charity of the year as Headlines, a leading UK charity supporting people with craniosynostosis and other rare craniofacial conditions.  The organisation aims to create a world where the physical, psychological and social impacts of craniosynostosis and rare craniofacial conditions are no more.

Just Desserts Yorkshire will be kicking off their fundraising campaign with a sponsored 13 mile walk from Roberts Park in Saltaire, along the canal before finally arriving in Skipton on Saturday 6 August

Kate Williams, General Manager of Just Desserts said: “At Just Desserts, we have seen firsthand the effects that a diagnosis of Craniosynostosis can have on a family with a very young baby. We’re excited to be fundraising for Headlines over the next year as we know how invaluable their support is during what can be a very worrying and distressing time for all involved. We are delighted to be able to support such a great charity.”
