Let the Entertainment Be-Gin!

Yorkshire food and drink experts are coming together this month to provide a gin-filled cookery course inspired by a Harrogate based gin company.

Slingsby Gin have partnered with the award-winning Bettys Cookery School to provide a gin based course inspired by the botanical flavours of their artisan gins.

Slingsby’s team of hand-picked mixologists along with Bettys’ course tutors and Craft Bakery experts will teach guests how to create a light and delicate botanically infused entertaining menu complemented by Slingsby Gin cocktails.

Guests will make and take home a range of dishes including Citrus Mackerel, Rhubarb Marinated Duck, and Grapefruit Curd Tart all paired with a selection of specially created tipples.

Amy McLeod, Marketing Manager at Slingsby Gin, said: “Our talented mixologists have worked closely with the team at Bettys to create a food and cocktail menu which complements Slingsby’s refreshing rhubarb and citrus flavours.

Will Pemberton, course tutor at Bettys Cookery School, added: “Combining these ingredients in the world of cooking is exciting. At Bettys we have a passion for creating food that’s honest, full of flavour and made from only the finest ingredients. We can’t wait to welcome guests onto our new course.”

The first workshop of its kind takes place on Friday 28th April 2017 from 9–4.30pm and tickets cost £185 per person. Limited spaces available and for more information or to book please visit www.bettyscookeryschool.co.uk.
