THE 1875 Restaurant in Menston is celebrating the launch of its new A la Carte menu put together by Head Chef – Vivek Singh Kashiwale, by showcasing what the menu has to offer with a ‘Live Cooking’ demonstration at Ilkley Train Station. Commuters in Ilkley will also be given samples and special offers, aswell as a chance to quiz the Chef on his background and Michelin starred training. The event will take place on Monday 1st July, Monday 8th July and Monday 15th July from 5.00pm onwards.

THE 1875 Restaurant is based on the first floor of Menston Railway Station and only offers food you would expect to eat in India. Restaurant owner Manjinder Singh Sarai adds “As Indians offering Indian food we don’t offer our diners gimmicky mass produced items that are not available in India”.
The 1875 Restaurant is also pleased to announce that it has recently been awarded a ‘Trip Advisor Excellence Award’. The award which honours hospitality excellence is only given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews. In fact only the top 10 percent of businesses listed in the world receive this prestigious award.
Manjinder Singh Sarai the restaurant owner who opened THE 1875 in November 2011 said “We are thrilled to receive the award.
