Mariners Coffee Merchants of York have been awarded 1 Gold Star in the Great Taste Awards 2013 for their hand-roasted single origin coffee beans from the Kenyan Kagumoini Co-Operative.
Judges comments liked the “Good even roast and good looking bean.
There’s a rum and raisin, dried fruit quality to this. A chewy flavour. Rich with good weight to the flavour that holds in the mouth.” This certainly is one of our most fruity flavoured coffees. We detect grapefruit and blackcurrant flavours, making this Kenyan coffee ideal for breakfast or morning.
