Award-winning Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin are launching a brand new gin which will hit the shelves next week.
G12 which will be available exclusively from Aldi from 1st October has been in development by the Masons team for six years and the new recipe uses the finest ingredients to give gin fans the best drinking experience.
Available online and in store at Aldi around the UK, G12 will cost £24.99 for 70cl bottle. Karl Mason, Co-Founder of Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin, said: “G12 was the 12th recipe trial in our search to create a new flavour using more modern distilling techniques to increase our output. We wanted to create a fresh gin with a light and citrus feel, a refreshing drink using Mediterranean inspiration. We originally used mint leaves, but realised basil worked better and G12 was born.”
The headline fresh and zingy flavours of the hand crafted small batch edition are enhanced through notes of herbs and juniper, while citrus bursts add a sharp aspect. A hint of basil results in a unique long and smooth refreshing finish coming through the gin.
Karl added: “We are continuing to grow our business and expand our gin range, so after talking with Aldi for almost 3 years we felt the time was finally right to release our G12 edition which is extremely exciting. For loyal fans of Masons premium range, we hope it will be the perfect gift this Christmas as we believe G12 is something incredibly special.”
