The team at Masons Yorkshire Gin are celebrating after taking home 3 prestigious accolades at the Gin Masters Awards 2019.
The Awards, which are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year have grown year-on-year to be the most highly regarded series of blind-tasting competitions in the industry and strive to find and reward the finest and most outstanding brands on the world stage.
Masons Lavender Edition came out top of the category with the ‘Master’ award whilst the family run firms Masons Original and Peppered Pear Editions both took home a ‘Silver’ in the super premium category
Judged by a panel of leading spirits and on-trade specialists each gin is judged on their own merit and scored according to appearance, nose, taste and overall balance, with each entry recognised according to category, age and price point.
Now in their 6th year, the team at Masons have collected a host of national and international awards since being founded by husband and wife team Karl and Cathy Mason who set out to create a gin that stood out from the crowd.
Co-founder Cathy Mason said: “We’re thrilled our Lavender Edition has won the ‘Master’ award in the Super Premium category this year. It’s a firm favourite amongst our customers and is a really unique gin. The Gin Masters Awards are extra special and we’re thrilled that 3 of our products have been recognised this year.”
