New arrivals at DY

It’s an exciting time here at DY as we’ve just taken on two new members of staff.

Investing in two new staff is a huge coup for deliciouslyorkshire, and and it’s members who will benefit from their knowledge and expertise. Despite losing all public funding to government cuts in 2011 deliciouslyorkshire have continually provided vital support to a diverse range of food and beverage producers, retailers and venues.

Jo Satariano joins the organisation as Marketing, Media and Membership Manager while Luke Shaw will be heading up the team and taking on the role of Commercial Manager.

Jo has spent the last 2 years as Marketing Executive with the iconic Yorkshire brand, The Black Sheep Brewery while Luke has spent the last 2 years as a sales manager for an independent retailer and has many years experience working on events across the country. They join a small, close-knit team, including Account and Events Manager, Katie Clements who has worked with the organisation since 2006.

Cath Clelland Chair of the deliciouslyorkshire board says “We’re so pleased to be welcoming Jo and Luke to the team and I’m confident their enthusiasm, experience and knowledge will be a huge benefit to both the team and our members.”

Jo Satariano, Media, Marketing and Membership Manager says: “This is pretty much my dream job! Yorkshire is blessed with a wealth of fantastic food and drink businesses so I really can’t wait to get working with the DY members to help grow their businesses and improve the benefits and support we offer them.”

Luke Shaw, Commercial Manager says: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining deliciouslyorkshire. Yorkshire has, in my opinion the best scenery, people and especially food in the country. I’m looking forward to attending all the events we are involved in and will be looking at some new avenues in the future to promote and support the wide range of offerings from our brilliant members.”
