Devonshire Hotels and Restaurants are delighted to announce the appointment of Wendy Preston as Group Sales & Marketing Manager.
Wendy joins the team from Womersley Fruit & Herb Vinegars Ltd. where she held the position of General Operations and Sales & Marketing Manager both in the speciality retail sector and restaurant market in the UK. Wendy also successfully led launches with key buyers in Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Austria in 2013.
She previously worked as Deputy Manager of Betty’s & Taylors of Harrogate when the company was awarded ‘Branch of the Year’ for performance against sales targets and budgets.
Wendy commented, “I am delighted to join the dynamic team at Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants and I’m looking forward to the exciting challenges it has in store for me.
My clear vision for Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants is to use my management expertise, drive and passion to strengthen and develop the group’s marketing strategy for the sites in Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

The Burlington Restaurant at The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa, Bolton Abbey, has most recently been presented with a prestigious 3 AA Rosette Award. The restaurant is led by Head Chef, Adam Smith, who recently joined Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants from The Ritz, London in July 2013.
The Devonshire Fell, Bolton Abbey and The Devonshire Arms at Beeley and Pilsley, Chatsworth have all been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for their professional dining standards.
