North Yorkshire business shortlisted in Entrepreneur Awards final

The team at a North Yorkshire rapeseed oil business is celebrating after reaching the final in two categories of an awards scheme that recognises Yorkshire’s Food and Drink Entrepreneurs.

Thixendale based Breckenholme Trading Company has been shortlisted with East Yorkshire based Staal Smokehouse in the Best Partnership category whilst its Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil brand has reached the final of the Best Yorkshire Brand category in the second annual Garbutt & Elliott Food Entrepreneur Awards.

Breckenholme’s founder, Adam Palmer is delighted to be shortlisted in two categories: “We’re thrilled to have reached the final of these high profile regional awards and we look forward to a great evening with fellow Yorkshire food and drink entrepreneurs.”

Breckenholme has been shortlisted alongside a number of iconic Yorkshire food and drink brands including Hesper Skyr, York Gin and Sloemotion.

Organised by York and Leeds-based accountancy firm Garbutt + Elliott the awards recognise the best among the county’s food and drink producers and retailers and will announce this year’s winners at a dinner at the Castle Museum, York on 7th March.
