North Yorkshire Chocolaterie goes Pink for October

A North Yorkshire chocolaterie has created a tasty pink chocolate treat to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Raspberry Gin trufflesKacao, which hand makes artisan chocolates in Richmond, will donate £1 from every bag of pink truffles it sells during the month of October to Breast Cancer Care.

Its award winning Strawberry and Elderflower truffle will be joined by the popular Raspberry and Gin truffle to create a limited edition treat bag, guaranteed to cure that chocolate craving as well as raising money for charity.

Kelsey Anderson, founder of Kacao, said: “I am thrilled to be supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I hope I can make a small contribution to this extremely important cause.

“For the first time I have created a limited edition bag of exclusively pink truffles – I have combined the Strawberry and Elderflower truffle, which just won a gold start at the Great Taste Award, and the Raspberry Gin truffle as they complement each other in both taste and colouring.

“For every bag I sell, £1 will be donated to charity. The treat bag looks great and I encourage everyone to go pink for October.”

The limited edition truffle bag is priced at £5.95 and can be purchased in-store, at The Smithy, Sedbury Hall, Richmond, or online at www.kacao.co.uk
