North Yorkshire rapeseed oil business adds luxury eco gift box to Christmas range

A Thixendale based rapeseed oil business has added a luxury eco gift box to its Christmas range of environmentally responsible food gifts.

Charlie & Ivy’s flagship giftbox for Christmas 2019 has been made in Yorkshire from recyclable packaging and complements the other products in its eco gift range that was launched in 2016.

The luxury gift box contains five of Charlie & Ivy’s rapeseed oil based best sellers and comprises: Garlic, Oregano and Balsamic and Chilli, Garlic & Ginger Bread Dippers; Lemon & Poppyseed Dressing and Mustard and Ale and Lemon and Dill Mayonnaise.

Of the launch, Charlie & Ivy’s Marketing Manager, Jennie Palmer said: “Our lovely luxury box of tastiness contains five miniatures from across our ranges. It’s a perfect hostess present for parties, suppers, barbecues and picnics and it makes a great stocking filler or sustainable secret Santa gift.

“Each product is packed full of flavour and made by us on our family farm in Yorkshire.  Not only are the contents made in Yorkshire, but we were able to source the gift box from North Yorkshire business Packaging for Retail which fits in well with our eco credentials, and matches our ethos of supporting independent local businesses wherever possible.”

Adam and Jennie Palmer grow, cold-press and bottle their award-winning rapeseed oil on their farm in the Yorkshire Wolds where they launched Charlie and Ivy’s in 2014. The brand is named after their two children and includes bread dippers, flavoured oils, mayonnaises and dressings. The luxury eco gift box costs £20 and is available to buy at selected independent retailers throughout the UK, at events, food festivals and online at www.charlieandivys.co.uk/shop
