Pop Up restaurant returns to the Dev

With the easing of lockdown measures now on the way, The Devonshire Arms have announced the return of their seasonal popular pop-up restaurant to get the warmer months underway.

The return of the Laurent Perrier Champagne & Seafood Terrace will take place on the lawns of the award winning hotel from 12th April giving guests uninterrupted views of the River Wharfe and Beamsley Beacon alongside a delicious locally sourced menu.

Located on the lawn under pop-up marquees, the new season seafood menu will include Whitby crab, rarebit and brioche, grilled tiger prawns and salsa verde, Lindisfarne oysters, seafood chowder and beetroot cured trout.

The terrace also offers a range of seafood platters for sharing, served on marble café tables, accompanied by a favourite tipple and make the perfect setting to enjoy the spring weather.

Available until mid-September (following the government guidelines of rule of six, or up two households meeting between 12 April and 16 May) the pop up will be open 7 days a week.

In addition to the Seafood pop-up, the Devonshire Arms Brasserie will also have an outdoor dining area available serving a bistro-style menu of locally sourced, seasonal dishes.

Both options will accommodate diners all afternoon and into the early evening, with the provision of patio heaters and cosy throws for guests’ comfort and dogs are welcome too!

Richard Palmer, Managing Director of The Devonshire Hotels and Restaurants Group said: “We’re really excited to welcome back face-to-face hospitality at last to our guests. We are blessed with such wonderful locations, and I think folk are appreciating that more than ever after events of the last year.

“Our teams are certainly raring to get back and do what they do best, offering fine Yorkshire hospitality at its best. It will give me personally such a sense of appreciation, to have the hotel grounds buzzing again, whilst we prepare to accommodate guests for the full Devonshire experience, which, all being well, will recommence 17th May.”
