This award will be judged in line with the three pillars of sustainability – economic, environmental and social.

Entries close at 5pm on Wednesday 31st July 2024.

The award will also be judged on taste – details will be confirmed in due course of where to send your product and by what date.

Please answer the following questions giving as much supporting evidence as possible. Where you have quantitative data, please include it. Please include at least one image of your product and up to two other additional images to support your entry as appropriate.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are shortlisted, your certificate will be printed using the company name and product name exactly as you have written them below. Please take particular care when completing these sections of the entry form.

How is your product economically sustainable? (Max 500 words) *

Please consider things such as use of resources, sourcing of raw materials, supply chains, routes to market, packaging, promotion, market positioning.

How is your product environmentally sustainable? (Max 500 words)

Please consider things such as target outcomes for the product (eg increased biodiversity), improvements in water quality, reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, circular approaches such as utilisation of waste etc.

How is your product socially sustainable? (Max 500 words) *

Please consider things such as social and community outcomes, payment of living wage, any nutrition and health benefits, any accreditations that apply to the product.

To allow for a fair process, whilst the judges may review supporting documentation, entries will be assessed by the content of the entry aligned to the criteria requested.
