Pumpkin Day fun at Riverford on Home Farm

There was lots of family fun to be had at Riverford on Home Farm’s annual Pumpkin Day.

Children and their parents enjoyed tractor rides, games and cookery demonstrations as well as traditional pumpkin carving at the North Yorkshire farm’s pumpkin extravaganza.

Local folk band, Fiddlyn Man Doris, was also on hand to provide the entertainment.

This year marks Riverford’s fifth anniversary in the region. Home Farm is one of four Riverford farms and delivers to more than 4,000 customers a week across the North of England. Nationally, Riverford delivers to more than 40,000 customers a week.

Home Farm is at Newby Wiske, Northallerton and is owned by farmer Peter Richardson whose family have farmed there for three generations.
