With still three weeks before entries close, the all-new Farm Shop & Deli Awards have received a record number of nominations this year, with over 650 received by the public for their favourite speciality retailers.
Jack Halliday, Farm Shop & Deli Show Director said “It’s such fantastic news that so many of the British public have got behind and supported their local, independent retailers ““ it’s what these Awards are all about.
Opening up the Awards from Olives Et Al’s Deli of the Year to a further eleven categories, including Farm Shop, Cheesemonger, Butcher and Garden Centre, has given even more scope to recognise all our independent retailers across the UK.”
The Awards are open to all UK independent retailers, selling regional fresh/farm produce or with a delicatessen counter and offers twelve categories to enter including Farm Shop, Cheesemonger, Butcher and Greengrocer.
Sangita Tryner, Director of Delilah Fine Foods, Deli Of The Year 2012 said “Winning Deli of the Year not only helped raise our profile and put us on the map within our industry, but generated such great interest within our lour local community and ultimately extending our customer base.
We would strongly recommend all speciality retailers to enter the all-new Farm Shop & Awards.”
The Farm Shop & Deli Awards final will be held at the Farm Shop & Deli Show, 25th March 2014 at the NEC Birmingham.
