Remarkable Driffield poultry business shortlisted for tourism award

The team at a Middleton on the Wolds poultry business are celebrating after reaching the finals of the prestigious Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs).

Soanes Poultry has reached the shortlist in the Remarkable Taste of East Yorkshire category of the11th annual awards that celebrate Hull and East Yorkshire’s tourism and associated industries.

Run by Visit Hull and East Yorkshire, the REYTAS recognise the best and brightest in the area’s tourism related businesses and acknowledge the contribution they make to the area’s visitor economy.

Soanes Poultry’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Ben Lee said: “It’s a huge honour to be shortlisted in the REYTAS! Congratulations to all of our hard-working team and fingers crossed for the final!”

Soanes Poultry is one of six finalists in the category that also includes Wold Top Brewery, Hotham’s Distillery and Cherry View Milk. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Bridlington Spa on Thursday, 19th March.

Soanes Poultry is a family owned business that has been rearing and preparing chicken for 73 years. It supplies butchers and independent retailers in Yorkshire and wholesalers nationwide.
