Award-winning artisan producer Rosebud Preserves has been hand-picked by the iconic London store Liberty to supply six of its jams and preserves for its new Liberty London Food Collection.
The six products chosen from Rosebud Preserves are its Blackberry & Sloe Gin Jam, Rhubarb & Ginger Jam, Strawberry Jam, Raspberry Jam, Gooseberry & Elderflower Jam and Seville Orange Marmalade.
The Liberty London Food Collection was launched at the opening of the new Mini British Food Hall at Liberty London, just off Regent’s Street, earlier this month. Rosebud Preserves is one of only fifteen fine food producers from across the UK to be included in the range of over 50 products that the mini food hall sells.
To run in line with all the products sold in Liberty’s new food hall, the packaging for Rosebud Preserves was specially created by London based design agency &SMITH. The eclectic and playful illustrations, by cutting edge designers, incorporate elements of each producers’ ingredients or lives. In the case of Elspeth Biltoft, owner of Rosebud Preserves, the labels feature photographs from her childhood, one of which shows Elspeth’s father fly-fishing on the River Swale, near Richmond in North Yorkshire, in the 1950’s.
Elspeth said: “We were delighted to be asked to supply six of our products for the Liberty London Food Collection. We really admire the Liberty brand – iconic, original and often representative of all that is best about British eccentricity! We are really pleased to receive their endorsement of our values and skills, and for the opportunity to present our preserves to a wider audience.”
