Masham based Rosebud Preserves have released a special edition new preserve in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The new limited-edition Strawberry & Rose Conserve has been created to celebrate the historic event and 70 years of dedicated service and combines the quintessentially British elements of roses along with traditional celebratory afternoon teas.
The elegant preserve has been created using generous quantities of summer strawberries, beautifully elevated by the subtle scent of Damask rose and is the perfect accompaniment for scones in the garden this Jubilee weekend.
Elspeth Biltoft, owner of Rosebud Preserves, says: “Summer strawberries and afternoon teas were the first things that came to mind when we were considering creating a product fit for our Queen, her Platinum Jubilee year and to help people celebrate this unique occasion.
“The ingredients in our new limited edition preserve very accurately represent a much loved and special aspect of our food British heritage. The addition of Damask rose oil transformed this preserve into something worthy of such an historic celebration and we hope that people will enjoy it as part of their summertime celebrations this year.”
