The cricket season is well under way. If you want something tasty and refined to take to the ground this year then call on Salt’s 2013 picnic hampers.
We’ve two menu choices (see below for details) to keep you going for what will hopefully be a great day of cricket. Both are hearty enough to satisfy an appetite of Mike Gatting proportions and sophisticated enough to impress any client guests for the day. We can deliver “bulk orders” to your offices or the ground if you are lucky enough to be schmoozing at your firm’s expense. Paying punters can pick up at the ground or our production kitchen as well.
Traditional Picnic (Picnic 1) – A picnic with more traditional tastes
• Yorkshire free range chicken, avocado, smoked pancetta & caesar dressing sandwich on locally baked granary bread
• Homemade quiche with Yorkshire outdoor reared ham, slow roasted tomatoes and brie
• Traditional handmade Pork Pie made by John Lord of Elland with homemade chutney
• Pipers hand-cooked Lincolnshire Crisps
• Innocent freshly squeezed orange juice
• Homemade chocolate and hazelnut brownie
• Fruit salad with strawberries, grapes, melon and orange.
• Napkins, cups and wooden cutlery
Luxury Picnic (Picnic 2) – For those wanting something a little different
• Antipasti with balsamic onion, roasted pepper, salchichon & semi-dried tomatoes
• Yorkshire outdoor reared ham hock presse, homemade piccalilli and wholemeal bread
• Handmade tartlet with goat’s cheese, butternut squash and caramelised red onion
• Free range chicken supreme with morcilla and jamn serrano served with baby new potatoes, salsa rosa and green bean salad
• Homemade baked Italian lemon tart with raspberry coulis
• Innocent freshly squeezed orange juice
• Napkins, cups and wooden cutlery
The internationals in Leeds this year are:
Friday 24th – Tuesday 28th May, Test Match v New Zealand
Friday 6th September, One day International v Australia
