Yorkshire-based artisan cheesemaker Shepherds Purse are celebrating after making history by winning two Category Gold awards at this year’s Virtual Cheese Awards.
The first ever British cheese producer to win two categories, the team took home the Best Artisan Soft for their Buffalo Blue and Best Blue for their Yorkshire Blue cheese.
Launched in 2020, The Virtual Cheese Awards are the world’s only accolades that connect expert judges through Zoom and broadcast the feedback live online for all to see. This year, more than 200 British cheeses were entered across a range of different categories.
