Side Oven Bakery, based in Foston-on-the-Wolds in East Yorkshire, is opening its doors for its annual Apple Open Day on Sunday 20th September.
Open from 10am – 3pm, the event is a great family day out, is free to attend and is open to all.
Visitors can enjoy picking their own apples from the farm’s organic orchard, choosing from a huge selection of heritage varieties. There will also be a selection of ready-picked apples available to purchase.
Have-a-go apple pressing will be available throughout the day, alongside woodland walks and a special Gruffalo Trail for younger visitors.
The popular Makara Morris Dancers will be returning for another year, performing at midday. The farm’s bakery will also be open throughout the day, offering a wide range of freshly baked organic speciality breads, seasonal sweet buns, croissants and cakes, alongside refreshments.
