Side Oven Bakery based at Foston on the Wolds in East Yorkshire are opening their doors for their annual Apple Open Day on Sunday 13th October.
Free of charge and open to everyone, the event will include guided farm walks at intervals throughout the day (pre-book only) led by Farmer Tim, giving visitors a real insight into the farming organic methods used to create the family’s award-winning produce.
PYO blackcurrants and apples from the organic orchard will also be available with a huge selection of heritage varieties on offer and visitors able to press their own apple juice.
A Gruffalo Trail will be available for children and the Makara Morris Dancers will be performing at midday.
Open 10am till 3pm, the bakery will be selling a wide range of freshly baked treats and takeaway refreshments for visitors.
