Slingsby Gin takes home Double Gold for Navy Strength Gin at China Wine & Spirits Awards

A North Yorkshire based artisan gin producer have been awarded a double gold medal at the prestigious China Wine & Spirits Awards (CWSA) for Best Value 2017.

Harrogate-based Slingsby were awarded the accolade for their Navy Strength Gin which they launched in August 2016.  Bottled at 57% abv, the artisan tipple has great body and intensity, with a smooth finish.

The CWSA (China Wine & Spirits) Awards are the biggest and most prestigious awards judged specifically for the Chinese market and are a major springboard for producers looking to export to the region. All 100 of the Judges are experts in the field of wines and spirits for the market and are a mixture of importers, distributors, retailers and sommeliers.

Slingsby’s products aim to capture the essence of Harrogate in a bottle, drawing on the town’s natural assets, they use water drawn from the world renowned Harrogate aquifer along with hand-grown local plants which are synonymous with the beautiful and restorative nature of Harrogate.

This news follows Slingsby Gin welcoming their 10,000th customer into its Spirit of Harrogate retail store, where they host popular Gin Experience packages and are constantly innovating with new flavours.
