An award-winning North Yorkshire drinks producer are celebrating the start of a busy summer show season after being shortlisted for a prestigious award.
Sloemotion, who produce a range of hedgerow liqueurs from their Barton-le-Willows base, have been named as one of five shortlisted Yorkshire businesses in the Yorkshire Producers and Makers category at this year’s White Rose Awards.
Having celebrated 10 years in business earlier this year, the team are planning on a busy summer of shows and events serving up their traditional liqueurs alongside their ever popular Fruit Cup No.7, a Yorkshire version of classic Pimms.
A gin-spirited blend of hedgerow, orchard and field fruits together with hedgerow blossom and herbs –No.7 has a deliciously smooth and fruity taste with floral and citrus hints and a strong dry finish.
Designed for a summer party, barbeque or just balmy days in the garden, Sloemotion will be selling their No.7 cocktails by the glass at events throughout the summer including next week’s Great Yorkshire Show.
