SPECIAL BREW: YORKSHIRE TEAROOM OFFERS UNIQUE AFTERNOON TEA FOR FATHER’S DAY

Dads can be treated to a first class Father’s Day this year with a unique afternoon “tea with a twist” that’s been specifically designed for men.

The Fourteas Tearoom at The Spiced Pear in Hepworth is offering a really special ‘Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea’ for Dads this Sunday June 16, which comes complete with homemade bread and dripping, mini Yorkshire puddings, roast beef pork pie and pickle, Scotch eggs and Balsamic onions.

And, if tea is not their thing, then this premium papa package also allows dads to wash down the home baked scones and clotted cream with a continental beer instead of a brew!

“We want Dads to feel a bit pampered this Father’s Day and indulge in something a little bit different,” says Tim, who’s eldest son Henry is pictured joining his Dad for a ‘tea for two’. “So while Mums can tuck into their favourite cakes and pastries, Dad can tuck into tea with a twist with gentlemanly pies, pickles and of course Yorkshire pudding!”

The extraordinary afternoon tea is available in The Spiced Pear’s stunning 1940s inspired Fourteas Tearoom, where Dads (and Mums) can rrelax in front of the open fire or take tea on the balcony terrace with stunning views of the Yorkshire hills. The extensive tearoom menu also includes ‘Full Yorkshire’ breakfasts, eggs three-ways, haddock and kippers and a selection of sumptuous sandwiches.

Award-winning chef Tim Bilton opened the doors to The Spiced Pear in Sheffield Road in May, turning the former Hepworth Restaurant into an exceptional venue that comes complete with a restaurant and cocktail bar with grand piano.
