Castle Howard have announced a programme of frighteningly fun events for the whole family to mark the autumn season.
The historic stately home will host PYO Pumpkins starting on the 1st October, along with The Great Pumpkin Adventure with the Skelves running from 30th Oct – 3rd Nov. October will also see the return of their Outdoor Adventure Cinema for 3 nights, showcasing a selection of classic Halloween films.
Alongside the family fun will be deliciously Spooky Afternoon Teas served in the historic Grecian Hall. Available from Sunday 13th October they will include treats designed by Great British Bake Off star Helena Garcia, including Bat Scones served with berried alive jam and clotted cream and Miniature Pumpkin Patch Cakes.
Those looking for a less spooky, but no less delicious experience can join the Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine Tasting event on 28th September and enjoy a sparkling evening tasting a selection of Nyetimber cuvees.
