Tasty local treats at York St Nicholas Christmas Fair

The fabulously festive York St Nicholas Christmas Festival begins on Thursday 19th November with a whole host of deliciouslyorkshire members waiting to tempt your taste buds with their festive treats!

Christmas DoorwayNow one of the most popular Christmas markets in the UK and the ultimate Christmas experience in York, St Nich’s has been given a tinselly twist for 2015 with an extended run, new locations and even more magical market stalls to peruse.

The Festive First Night launch takes place on 19th and is the start of the Christmas celebrations in the city which will come alive with bustling stalls, carol singers and buskers, mulled wine, brandy-laced hot chocolate and chestnuts roasting on street corners which will all add to the festive feel.

A total of 25 Delciouslyorkshire members including Sloe Motion, Bothams and Johnsons Toffees amongst others will be located in festive chalets decorated with twinkling lights in St Sampsons Square throughout the five week period and will be offering visitors a array of locally made treats and tipples to get the festive season off to a great start.

The St Nicholas Fair will run from 10am to 6pm Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 9pm Thursday to Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on Sundays.  For further information visit www.visityork.org/christmas
