THE COUNTDOWN TO YORKSHIRE’S MOST DELICIOUS FOOD AND DRINK TRADESHOW BEGINS!

With less than three weeks to go until the big event, Deliciouslyorkshire, Yorkshire’s Regional Food group is busy making the final preparations for their collaboration with the Guild of Fine Food at Harrogate Speciality Food Show.

Deliciouslyorkshire @ Harrogate Speciality Food Show will be taking place later this month over two days (Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd June) at The Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate and will run as part of the Guild of Fine Food’s well established Speciality Food Show.

For the first time ever deliciouslyorkshire will be showcasing a handpicked selection of the region’s finest artisan producers in a dedicated “Yorkshire area” which can be found in Hall 1 of the Yorkshire Event Centre.

Deliciouslyorkshire marketing manager Jo Satariano said: “We’re thrilled that so many fantastic, local food and drink producers are exhibiting in the deliciouslyorkshire area of the show. This is this first time we’ve done this and we’ve had a fantastic response from our members. Harrogate Speciality Food Show is such a well attended and greatly respected show so it’s wonderful that we can give lots of new and smaller businesses the opportunity to exhibit in our “Yorkshire only” area”

John Farrand, managing director of the Guild of Fine Food said: “We’re chuffed that deliciouslyorkshire will be joining us this year in Harrogate. The show is all about finding great food for your shop, pub, hotel or restaurant from all over the UK and beyond and it’s unique in that it attracts producers who are making that first leap of faith into the trade arena as well as the established fine food brands.”

Every year Harrogate Speciality Food Show brings together food and drink exhibitors from the UK and overseas. As well as a fantastic array of artisan producers it features FineFoodLive! the Guild of Fine Food’s live, interactive theatre of teach-ins and workshops.
Visitors can taste genuinely new products and identify the latest food trends and the show also hosts Feed the Dragon, a forum where speciality food producers pitch their products to key buyers from delis and food halls.

Jo Satariano said: “We think that visitors will be really impressed with the addition of the deliciouslyorkshire area to this year’s show. They can expect to find everything from Proper Nutty’s Yorkshire peanut butter to Sutton Spring’s brand new range of Yorkshire inspired soft drinks. There’s so much innovation on the Yorkshire food and drink scene and deliciouslyorkshire @ Harrogate Speciality Food Show is going to be a fantastic showcase of this diversity.”
