The Devonshire Arms Hotel launch a trio of gourmet wine events

The Devonshire Arms Hotel will be hosting a trio of wine events at its 3AA Rosette ‘Burlington’ restaurant this coming season. 

The three gourmet wine events will each take guests on a sensory deep dive into a particular wine region or country.  Commencing on May 4th with the best of Burgundy, five notable wines will be served along with a five-course tasting menu curated by the Head Chef to complement the selection.  

The events will be hosted by John Atkinson, Master of Wines since 1999, who has worked alongside some of the industry’s most influential characters as well as being awarded the Bollinger Tasting Medal for ‘blind tasting excellence’.

The dinners will be both informative and convivial, and an opportunity to share and discover with fellow oenophiles, and learn more about the region’s master producers, terroir, and varieties. Each wine will be thoughtfully chosen to pair with delicious seasonal dishes on the tasting menu, creating a satisfying and possibly thought-provoking evening for those who love dining out, and who are especially passionate about superb wines. 

This exclusive series of events is available to a limited number of diners to ensure a high level of personal interaction and following on from May, there will be two further events to enjoy during the autumn season, including the Bordeaux wine dinner on Thursday 5th October and an evening exploring Spanish wines on 23rd November.
