Wakefield-based business The Yorkshire Kitchen has launched a new limited-edition Gingerbread Butter, just in time for the colder months.
Created specifically for autumn and winter, the new Gingerbread Butter combines rich, creamy butter with the warming spices associated with traditional gingerbread. The result is a versatile seasonal spread that can be enjoyed on warm toast and crumpets, swirled through porridge, spooned over pancakes or stirred into hot chocolate.
The family-run business, founded by husband-and-wife team Jamie and Sarah Stokes, began with a family recipe for traditional brandy butter and has since expanded to include a variety of innovative sweet and savoury butters. The range is now stocked by more than 150 independent stockists, as well as being available online.
Handcrafted in Yorkshire using the company’s traditional techniques, the new butter reflects The Yorkshire Kitchen’s focus on combining family heritage with modern flavours.
Sarah Stokes, co-owner of The Yorkshire Kitchen, said: “We wanted to create something that really captured the feeling of autumn and winter – warm, comforting and just a little bit indulgent. Gingerbread felt like the perfect fit for our sweet butter range, and it’s been brilliant to see such a positive response already.”
The limited-edition Gingerbread Butter is available online and through selected stockists now.
