Two new Duty Managers for Les Routiers Inn of the Year

The multi award-winning Shibden Mill Inn has strengthened its management team with the appointment of two new Duty Managers.
April Rose and Ollie Roberts (pictured) have quickly settled in to their new roles, each bringing valuable experience, individuality and flair to the local inn that enjoys a national reputation for great Yorkshire hospitality. April has not long returned from France where she successfully owned and operated her own restaurant for a number of years and Ollie has worked his way up through the ranks at Shibden Mill, starting many years ago as a teenager working part-time.
April and Ollie’s appointment coincides with the recent opening of the new upstairs Grill Room, which serves a fine selection of quality Yorkshire meats, fish and seafood, along with connoisseur wines by both the glass and bottle.
Commenting, Simon Heaton, the Inn’s owner said: “We are delighted to welcome April and Ollie as Duty Managers here at Shibden Mill, they have already had a very positive impact on the team and are settling in to their new roles extremely well. I am sure the Inn’s many regular visitors will join me in wishing them all the very best.”
Shibden Mill Inn has been crowned Les Routiers Inn of the Year 2015. It is the second time in four years that the 350 year old AA 5 Star, 2 Rosette establishment has been awarded the prestigious title.
