Valentine Afternoon Tea at Jervaulx

A Yorkshire Dales based tearoom are offering a week-long celebration of romance and afternoon tea next month with their Valentines themed offering.

Jervaulx Abbey Tearoom, based in the shadow of the famous family owned ruin between Masham and Leyburn, are offering visitors the opportunity to indulge in their award-winning afternoon tea with a romantic twist.

The Tearooms, which are currently closed for the winter season, open their doors again to the public on Saturday 10th February and the specially designed afternoon tea will be available for the following 7 days.

Jervaulx Abbey and Tearoom, which are owned and run by the Burdon family, were awarded the top prize in the Best Yorkshire Afternoon Tea category at the 2016 Deliciouslyorkshire Taste Awards and also swept to victory in the Best Free From category at the 2017 Awards for their Gluten Free Raspberry and Almond Cake.

The family are looking forward to a busy year ahead with a full programme of events following on from their success in 2017, including another Meet the Maker event this summer and a Jervaulx in Lights weekend planned for the autumn.
