Wicstun Distillery launch charity spirits

The team at an East Yorkshire based distillery have announced a special partnership, aiming to raise money for a local charity.

Wicstun Distillery in Market Weighton have launched 3 new handcrafted spirits, including a Pink Gin, Salted Caramel Vodka, and a Dark Rum, to raise much needed funds for Dove House Hospice, a leading charity in Hull.

The collaboration will see 17.5% of the proceeds from the spirits given directly to the Hospice, contributing to their invaluable services provided to patients and their families, and continue to provide exceptional care and support to those living with life-limiting illnesses across Hull and the East Riding.

Specialising in craft gins, vodka and rum, all developed, distilled and bottled by hand, Wicstun Distillery was founded 2021, by Jago Packer and wife Lisa and has since gone from strength to strength, with the family run firm now producing a wide range of products.

Officially launched at a special event earlier this month, Jethro Shearring, Senior Fundraiser at Dove House, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Wictstun Distillery for kindly supporting the Hospice in this way. With only 10% of hospice running costs covered by central funding, all areas of care are only made possible as a result of the kindness of our community and partnerships such as this.”

The three new spirits are available exclusively from the Wicstun Distillery website www.wicstun-distillery.co.uk
