THE 1875 Restaurant in Menston is celebrating the launch of its new Traditional Sunday Lunch with an Indian Twist by hosting a special event to be hosted by Yorkshire’s very own multi award winning business woman, Kate Hardcastle.
The event to be held on Sunday 11th August will be attended by key local business people and media and will be the first chance to experience the ‘World Exclusive’ from THE 1875. The British tradition with hints of Indian Flavours will use locally sourced meat and poultry marinated in Indian herbs and spices served with all the trimmings and Indian sides.
The event is also part of the ‘Customer at the Heart’ roadshow which was started by Kate and the team at ‘Insight with Passion’, where they select, feature and support a hand picked group of businesses around Yorkshire and Lancashire between the months of June to August 2013. The businesses are chosen because they offer something a little different from the norm.
Insight with Passion gives over 20% of its dedicated resources to the Yorkshire community and charities. Kate, herself has won titles such as the Tesco ‘Mum of the Year’ award and ‘Marketer of the Year’ award for the UK. She is in high demand and has spoken on world stages on her specialist topics of business, brand, marketing and customer focus. This year she became the first woman at the time in Superleague by joining Bradford Bulls as Director.

THE 1875 Restaurant has had a great 2013 so far. It was shortlisted for ‘Best Newcomer’ in March at the Oliver Awards, it has had Michelin star trained Chef, Vivek Singh Kashiwale on board since April and it has recently been awarded a ‘Certificate of Excellence’ from Tripadvisor for its outstanding reviews. Recently it launched its ‘Early Diners’ menu and is also due to launch a ‘Take Home’ menu and new A la carte menu under Vivek’s guidance in the next couple of weeks.
