Yorkshire Bakery brand feeds creativity

Jacksons of Yorkshire’s have launched a brand-new initiative to support all things creative.

The new ‘Feeding Creativity’ pledge will see the award-winning bakers working alongside the UK’s leading creative charity Create to support wellbeing through the arts.

Jacksons will be sponsoring a series of Create’s workshops, supporting young people facing challenges during the school holidays. ‘Feeding Creativity’ will build upon the charitable work already underway in the bakery’s hometown of Hull, supporting breakfast clubs and helping to improve school lunches across the city.

Create aims to reduce isolation and enhance wellbeing by partnering with community organisations to deliver exciting, creative projects for children and adults. Spanning 16 different artforms, these projects are led by Create’s professional artists and include everything from film and jewellery-making to music and, most recently, circus arts!

Jacksons of Yorkshire’s special Feeding Creativity loaves are on shelves in supermarkets now, giving customers the opportunity to win a family art trip to London and art kits for their local school.

Nicky Goulder, founding CEO of Create, said: “2023 marks Create’s 20th anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than to partner with a household brand to raise awareness of our work on a national scale.”
