Two award winning Dales dairy producers have teamed up to create a unique new product.
Renowned for their range of 40 different flavours of ice cream and sorbets made using Guernsey milk and cream from their own pedigree herd, the partnership sees Brymor combining their award winning ice cream with the world famous Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese along with a biscuit crumb.
The delicious new ice cream has the subtle flavour of cheese, ginger and a note of buttery biscuits and will be available exclusively at Byrmor’s Ice Cream Parlour at High Jervaulx near Masham and The Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre in Hawes.
Nicola Moore, Operations Director for Brymor said: “We were thrilled to be working in partnership with The Wensleydale Creamery on this unique flavour. Brymor is known for its great taste and choice of flavours and we are looking forward to bringing the great taste of Yorkshire Wensleydale & Ginger Cheesecake ice cream to our customers”.
David Hartley Managing Director of The Wensleydale Creamery said “We’re delighted to be linking up with another proud Yorkshire dairy producer, to create this uniquely flavoured ice cream. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to The Wensleydale Creamery and delighting them with a real taste of the Yorkshire Dales!”
In addition to their ever popular traditional range of flavours, Brymor has created a number of innovative combinations with local producers over recent months including Riggwelter Raisin Ripple Rum made with The Black Sheep Brewery’s strong Riggwelter Ale and Sloe Gin Truffle made with Sloe Motion’s Sloe Gin infused Ganache.
