Morrisons are looking for prospective local suppliers to spend and celebrate Yorkshire Day (Monday 1st August 2016) with them at their Head Office, Gain Lane, Bradford. This will be a great opportunity to showcase your products and meet with buyers, senior management and other colleagues.
The Atrium at the Bradford Head Office is the perfect venue for up to 15 Yorkshire food & drink manufacturers to show off their finest wares. Head Chef Richard will be on hand throughout the day to support with exclusive use of his development kitchen for these lucky companies.
This is the first time that Morrisons have opened their doors in Yorkshire for such an event; underlining the importance that Morrisons puts on sourcing and working with local suppliers. The day will be very informal with kick off at 10am for tasting sessions with buyers and senior management. From 11.30am, Morrisons colleagues will be browsing all 15 stalls and voting for their favourite prospective supplier.
Food manufacturer ‘Proper Nutty’ will also be in attendance to chat with prospective suppliers about their journey from meeting with Morrisons at ‘Manufactured Yorkshire’ in June 2015 to now being listed in 51 Morrisons stores.
Applications are now open. The closing date is Friday 1st July at 5pm and the successful applicants will be notified the following week. There is no cost to this event. Morrisons have requested that you must be a food & drink manufacturer and be based in Yorkshire and/or manufacture your food/drink in Yorkshire.
