Yorkshire Photographer shortlisted in World Food Photography Awards

Yorkshire based photographer Olivia Brabbs has been shortlisted in the World Food Photography Awards.

A celebration of the best food photography from around the world, the Awards are open to both professional and non-professional photographers, and Olivia’s image ‘Asparagus Harvest’, which was captured at Spilmans Farm in Sessay, has been shortlisted in the ‘Bring Home the Harvest’ category.

Part of an ongoing personal series titled ‘Provenance’ which documents the people and processes behind some of Yorkshire’s favourite ingredients, the image will now go forward to the final, with the winners announced at an award evening in early June

Renowned for her love of narrative, eye for detail and passion for farm to plate storytelling, Olivia has worked with many prestigious food brands across Yorkshire and the UK, from small artisan producers through to Michelin chefs.
