The team Yorkshire Wolds Apple Juice have relaunched their popular annual pressing service.
With bookings available until early November dependant on demand, the press, which is based on their farm just outside Malton, gives people with a surplus of apples and pears from their own gardens and orchards the opportunity to have them traditionally pressed when their crop is ready.
Owner Jane Birch said: “As well as doing private pressings, we’ve grown the service over the last few years to offer contract pressings for larger organisations who have their own orchards. We now offer a range of services including pressing, bottling and labelling, so that the juice is ready for sale in their outlets.
“A growing number of businesses, including holiday cottages, B&Bs and farm shops, have used our service as we guarantee that the unique juice our customers receive back is only from their own pressed fruit.
“It’s perfect for gifts or to share with friends and family and many customers also love the fact that the juice is cold pressed, using traditional methods.”
