Yorvale selected as York Mystery Plays 2012 supplier

Vale of York ice cream manufacturer Yorvale has been awarded the contract to supply its ice cream to visitors at the York Mystery Plays 2012 (2 – 27th August).
Visitors to the theatrical extravaganza will be able to enjoy 120ml tubs of Yorvale’s most popular flavours thanks to staff who will tour the audience during the intervals with specially designed ice cream bags supplied by Yorvale.
Director of Yorvale Lesley Buxton said; “We’re very proud to have been invited to play a part in the historic event. With the excitement of the York Mystery Plays 2012 and the celebrations surrounding York 800, there really isn’t a better time to visit York.”

The York Mystery Plays 2012 will be performed in a purpose built auditorium with covered seating in front of St Mary’s Abbey and combines the talents of over 1,500 volunteers working alongside theatre professionals to present an epic production.
