West Yorkshire based condiment brand YoYo Laos Sauce has launched on Ocado.
In partnership with Harrogate-based IND!E, the brand is now making its bold, Lao-inspired sauces available to customers nationwide through the UK’s leading online supermarket.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Hatsadee Xayavongchanch (YoYo) and Frazer Rhodes, YoYo Laos Sauce was created to introduce the bold, vibrant flavours of Lao cuisine to a wider audience.
Often overshadowed by its regional neighbours, Laos has a rich culinary heritage and is known for its fresh ingredients and balanced heat.
Co-founder YoYo said: “We’ve always believed Lao cuisine deserves far more recognition internationally. Launching on Ocado is a huge milestone for us as a small, independent brand and allows many more people across the UK to discover the flavours of Laos.”
The range has built a loyal following since its launch through local markets, specialty retailers and independent food stores, and has collected several prestigious industry awards over recent years including a very rare 3 Stars at the Great Taste Awards in 2024.
The Ocado launch represents a significant step forward for the brand as it continues to expand distribution while maintaining its focus on authenticity, ethical production and social impact with donations from every bottle sold to support the work of Mines Advisory Group (MAG) in clearing landmines and unexploded bombs in countries like Laos.
