Two Yorkshire Dales businesses have joined forces to create a deliciously boozy chocolate treat.
Dacre Banks based craft gin producers Whittaker’s Gin have teamed up with master chocolatiers Whittakers Chocolates on their new Pink Gin Creams. Whilst there’s no family connection between the two like named businesses, the collaboration is a match made in heaven for chocolate and gin lovers with the dark chocolate fondant creams infused with Whittaker’s Pink Gin.
Established over 130 year ago, Whitakers Chocolates produce a range of award-winning products from their base in Skipton whilst Whittaker’s Gin was founded in 2015 by husband and wife team Toby and Jane Whittaker.
The small team at Whittaker’s Gin distil a range of internationally award-winning spirits from their family farm in the heart of Nidderdale, supplying many well known retailers throughout the country and beyond, including Fortnum and Masons and the Globus stores in Switzerland.
Managing Director of Whittaker’s Gin, Toby said: “We’ve been looking to work with Whitakers Chocolates for some time, so when the opportunity arose to help produce a gin related chocolate product we jumped at the chance!
“Our ‘Pretty in Pink’ Gin really is the perfect partner for these dark chocolate creams and we use our award winning 42% Pink Particular which is infused with dried hibiscus flowers which add that vibrant pink colour you’ll see when tasting the chocolates”.
Whitakers Chocolates have been making fondant creams for over 60 years, using the same family recipe and the new range features their signature rich dark chocolate and creamy fondant centres.

The first batch of the new chocolates went into production in July with the chocolates available to buy now from both Whittaker’s Gin and Whittakers Chocolates online shops as well at independent retailers throughout the country.
