Part of an ongoing partnership between Castle Howard and English Sparkling Wine producer Nyetimber, the team will be bringing their beautifully reimagined 1968 Routemaster bus, The Nyetimber, for visitors to enjoy this Christmas
From the 1st – 5th December Nyetimber will be serving their world-renowned English Sparkling Wines daily, with tasting events on the bus available exclusively for Castle Howard members.
As well as onboard The Nyetimber bus, visitors can also enjoy a glass with a festive Happily Ever Afternoon Tea, or in the Courtyard Café as part of Castle Howard’s programme of Christmas activities which this year includes the Into the Woods: A Fairytale Christmas installation in the Castle itself, running from 12th November – 2nd January.
After the sell-out success of 2021’s ‘Christmas in Narnia’ experience, Charlotte Lloyd Webber Event Design and The Projection Studio return to transform the Castle’s grand rooms into magical forests and faraway kingdoms, and visitors can expect to be enchanted by theatrical installations and projections that bring fairy tales to life through the great halls via state-of-the-art soundscapes.
Christmas shopping will also be available throughout the festive season, with unique gifts and delicious local produce available alongside delicious festive dishes, afternoon teas and roaring log fires as well as after-dark experiences featuring winter light displays, and twinkling Christmas trees.
