The team at Castle Howard are preparing to welcome an influx of visitors over the coming weeks with the launch of their Christmas Afternoon Teas.
Running on selected dates throughout November and December, visitors to the historic estate will be able to combine their visit to the iconic house and gardens with a quintessentially British afternoon tea, complete with a number of festive twists.
Served in the historic estate’s elegant Grecian Hall, the afternoon tea will include an award winning selection of exquisite savoury and sweet treats, including Castle Howard Christmas cake, almond and pistachio crumb mince pies and Christmas choux buns with rum and nutmeg cream, all served beside a roaring log fire in the unique palladian surroundings.
The Afternoon Teas are available from Saturday 17th November and £46.95 per person, which includes admission to the House and Gardens (£27.45 for Friends of Castle Howard). Visitors can enjoy a 20% discount off admission when booking for the first week of opening.
