Cooking Course is “Made in Yorkshire”

Whether it’s the lush green dales, the scenic coastlines, the rich heritage or the friendly people, Yorkshire has all the right ingredients to be called God’s Country. Though The Cooking School will be using other types of Yorkshire ingredients in its Made in Yorkshire cooking course.

Inspired by the beauty of Yorkshire The Cooking School at Dean Clough are providing customers with the opportunity to learn how to use the county’s finest ingredients. The Made in Yorkshire course will use ingredients grown in Yorkshire and available over the summer.

Matthew Benson- Smith, Director of The Cooking School said, “The course is all about learning to use some fantastic ingredients and our summer recipes will reflect the variety and quality available.”

The course will teach how to cook Smoked Salmon with Yorkshire Herbs, Watercress salad, Gold Raspberry and Apache Chili Dressing, a Confit of Local Rabbit with Spiced Victoria Plum Chutney and Yorkshire Soft Fruit in Sparkling Wine Jelly.

Made in Yorkshire (Summer) is running on Saturday 21 July 2012 and will include refreshments and lunch at the fantastic Dean Clough Mills. Book your place now at www.thecookingschool.co.uk. Places are also available on the October course.
