Delicious Yorkshire, the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and the Humber have officially launched their 2025 Taste Awards.
The annual celebration of the region’s thriving food and drink industry are celebrating their 21st year and have grown to become the biggest of their type in the North of England, attracting hundreds of entries from businesses of all shapes and sizes.
Welcoming back Booths as Headline Sponsors, the team have added an exciting new category to this year’s line-up with the inaugural Rising Star award, sponsored by new Deliciously Yorkshire Ambassadors Rudding Park.
The new category will look to shine a light on an individual in the early stages of their career who are already making waves in the industry and it will join the awards 24 other delicious categories which cover the spectrum of food and drink in the county from Best Pork Pie, Bakery and Beer, to New Business and Best Sustainable Product amongst others.
Entries will be judged by a panel of esteemed industry experts including chefs, food writers, critics and buyers at the end of August, who will carefully work their way through each category, before unveiling the shortlist in September.
This year’s coveted Taste Awards Champions will then be announced at a glittering black-tie awards ceremony at the Pavilions of Harrogate on Tuesday 4th November.
