Deliciouslyorkshire are proud to announce we will be supporting the Yorkshire Air Ambulance at our awards ceremony on the 25th October at the National Railway Museum.
deliciouslyorkshire is a not for profit organisation providing vital support to a diverse range of food and beverage producers, retailers and distinguished hospitality operators in the Yorkshire and Humber Region. Our members are private sector enterprises creating sustainable employment in the region and providing a vital economic backbone for our rural communities. Over the last 7 years the team have established in deliciouslyorkshire a well recognised brand providing respected business support services to a vibrant and growing membership.
Our deliciouslyorkshire awards are well recognised as one of the best measures of the fantastic food and drink form the Yorkshire and Humber region. Now in their eighth year for 2012 the competition heats up, with 16 awards up for grabs the winners will be announced on the evening.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance provides a vital service across Yorkshire which saves lives every year. With two air ambulances they managed to cover the whole Yorkshire region which is an amazing 4million acres and a population of 5million in Yorkshire we think this is impressive to say the least.
This Yorkshire Air Ambulance is especially important to Deliciouslyorkshire and our members because of the support they provide rural communities. Many of our members and the good people of Yorkshire live in rural areas and communities which make access to land based emergency services difficult.
We have chosen to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance this year by fundraising on the evening through a raffle with luxury prizes. The prizes are tightly under wraps but we guarantee they are first class!
