Delifresh have launched their annual Young Chef of the Year competition with winners receiving the chance to be involved in the Delifresh journey throughout the coming year, including exciting seasonal trips to suppliers and a host of other fantastic prizes too.
Founded in 2002, Delifresh pride themselves on excellence, innovation, and a passion for quality, with customers ranging from Michelin-starred restaurants to hotels and stadiums.
Their popular Young Chef Of The Year competition has grown over recent years and provides a platform for young chefs within the industry to catapult their careers.
Entries for the summer competition for trainee and professional chefs under the age of 25 open on 21st June, and entrants will need to create a dish using strawberries or raspberries, explaining their inspiration and ingredients, and why they should progress through to the next round.
Successful chefs will then be invited to a regional cook-off where they’ll create one dish using the ingredients provided which will be judged by a panel of industry experts including Gareth Ward, Steph Moon, Aiden Byrne, Andrew Pern.
