The team at East Yorkshire based Great Newsome Brewery are set to hold their annual beer and music festival this month after a two-year break.
Taking place near Hull on Friday 17th – Saturday 18th June, the event will feature a mixture of live music from a number of local bands and artists, street food and of course plenty of fantastic award-winning Great Newsome beer.
Over 800 people attended Festivale in 2019 and this year’s event, for the first time, will see bands play both the Friday and Saturday nights along with a larger event area and more opportunities for revellers to camp on site.
Festivale 2022 will be supporting the Daniel Wilkinson Foundation, a charity aiming to tackle Sudden Cardiac Death in young people and the event will raise money to fund screening programmes and defibrillators primarily for grass-roots sporting teams.
Founded in 2007, Great Newsome has developed a reputation for classic easy-drinking ales with a modern twist, building a loyal following and collecting a number of industry awards along the way.
The team now produce more than 20 beers annually in cask and bottles, supplying pubs and retailers around Yorkshire and the rest of the UK as well as into Europe and also run a brewery shop, both at the farm and online.
This year due to increased demand, Festival is being held in a field adjacent to the brewery, with the new location providing more space for camping and car parking all within the same area.
Large pitches will cost £15 per night and small £10 per night with campers having access to a fresh water supply onsite and toilets, and tickets for camping as well as the event itself must be purchased in advance
Suitable for families there will also be a range of giant pub games such skittles and giant jenga as well as a giant sandpit which are free for the kids and adults to play. Under 18s admission is free but require an under 18s ticket.
Adult ticket costs £10 for the Friday and £20 for the Saturday, with full weekend saver ticket costing £25.
